And hang on now....

Didn't think I didn't have any crafting to show did you?  LOL

Crocheted bookmark.
A mat for my table.

A grey birdy.

A newborn pressie.

Garden Goodies!

You prepare the soil, plant the seeds and then you get to eat the yummy goodies at the end!!!!!

These are 'Jack be little' pumpkins....our first time growing them and aren't they just the cutest! I roasted them whole and ate them with a spoon! I've saved the seeds too ready for next years crop planting......

And look at the yummy greens that are starting to produce - silverbeet, peas..Oh and some parsley thrown in cos it adds to the flavour when steaming :)

And my first ever strawberry jam - quite proud of this one.....Our strawberries are producing heaps now.
Soooooooo much better tasting than the shop bought jam too!

Another month and a bit and we'll be heading into spring here in Australia so it's time to be thinking of our next seed plant up - Corn is definitely on the list as well as a big selection of flowers to help out the native bees in our area (not to mention it helps our plants pollinate too)

Swiss cheese in Paris....

And the beauty is finished......a swiss cheese scarf in Malabrigo lace yarn - colorway 'Paris night'. It couldn't have turned out any softer or lighter than it is, such a pleasure even if it was a tedious pattern at times.
I used the modifications made by another raveller HERE to make my scarf and I am so glad I learnt how to do a one row buttonhole because it is just ingenious!!!!!

A quick one......

Going to scrub-a-dub the house today so it's a quick post before I get off the computer :)
Pretty much knitting but I do also have a few garden bits and pieces to show you too.

As requested by my darling knit loving son, Angelus.....his rainbow top!

This beanie is for a gift....very manly I think!

This was created a while ago as a secret test knit for the designer CathyRubin - it has become part of a yarn kit for the RRHY yarn club. Such a stylish pattern!

This is 'Buggy'....I made him up as I went (Oh how I love the freedom of crochet) and he will be apart of the 'Winter warmers showcase' Tanya Knits is hosting on Facebook!

No photos please LOL ......Our rescue dog 'Faith'

Mixture of my life....

Wanted and loved - a gift for a tiny person yet to be born.
Harvest - these yummies became a pot of Ratatouille the same day we picked them.

All four together!

Woodland rainbow - a FB showcase entry.

Crochet with colors....

A soft colorful crocheted shawl in cotton with tassels - this one is for a swap :)

Ans some freeform crochet masks for a custom order - I still have an owl to add to the set but couldn't resist popping them in this post......was lovely to just makes things up as I went for a change instead of the restraints of a pattern :)

Purple Healing......

Hold on to what is good,
even if it's a handful of earth.
Hold on to what you believe,
Even if it's a tree that stands by itself.
Hold on to what you must do,
Even if it's a long way from here.
Hold on to your life,
Even if it's easier to let go.
Hold on to my hand,
Even if I've gone away from you.

Clack those needles Mommy.....

Phew....finally finished my sons long awaited Tagg top......It really was an easy pattern and of course seamless but it just kept getting knocked back for more pressing deadlines and new projects that probably shouldn't have been started until it was finished....anyhoo it's done and I love how it turned out :)
I've also got a few other knits to show you but the majority of what I've been doing is a whole bunch of secrets so they are all under wraps for now!
