Starting points.......

Beanies and this time one for me too!!!

Cropped version of the 'my honey' cardi....

Do you like pink?

Always a cosy, cheerful color for heading into winter don't you think?
I love pinks and my test knit of the heart cowl pattern teams pink with lots of love!!!!
It will hopefully be released on ravelry soon so watch out for that one or join the group The Barbarian Horde for details!
My cowl is a swap gift for a special mommy <3 br="">

And this one is also a swap gift - a swap featuring all things Kawaii.....and pink just has to be in that!!!
This pattern is called innocence and gilt from stitch seekers. I love how it combines knit and crochet!

Cowls!

Warm, easy to wear and they don't spend all their time around your neck falling off like a scarf does - cowls are the best invention!
These two I've recently done are actually test knits due for release soon on ravelry - the first is a Poplar cowl - I called my 'raspberry royal' because of the delicious red yarn I used - it features an easy to memorize lace pattern and comes in lots of different yarn weights and size......

and the second is called Chateau - I called mine 'Standing frozen' as the blue sparkle yarn reminded me of the frozen movie and I actually cast on while watching it too. Again the lace pattern is simple to work yet looks gorgeous!
I actually made this one with a special friend in mind and it is winging it's way to her as we speak as a surprise gift :)

About what?

I'm not really sure actually!
It's warm..... for an autumn day.
I've seen pretty things........

I'd love this as a yarn colorway.......

sweet potato flower.....

I've been knitting.......

a gift for a wee unborn bubby....

I've taken out the sewing machine......once.

Miss 'almost 2' is mad about cats......a $2 shirt and some simple appliques = happy days.

I've watched children and babies sleep.....
I've cooked and cleaned and washed......

A bird is building a nest right outside our bedroom window.
